7th Floor: Hidden Walkway above Staff Room (Original)

Have you ever seen this door? Legend says that the school’s Marist brothers lived in the walkway inside.

On a side note, have you ever ventured up the staircase near the Seminar Room 6? If you did, you would have probably noticed this sign “Private By Order”. If you didn’t, fret not. All will be explained below. If you don’t get the explanation below, I can’t help you.

[Above: “Private by Order” sign stuck onto the door for obvious reasons]

When you open this mysterious door (which never seems to be locked and left ajar), you will be greeted by this walkway. On the right, there is a door blocked by a table. I am fortunate to have opened the door when it was still unlocked.

The door leads to what is known as the Conference Room. I have documented it in another post.

There is also a toilet located next to the conference room. When I was at the scene, there were still droplets of water present in the sink, indicating that someone else had used it not too long ago. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take a picture of it as it was too dark.

I also encountered some signs “preventing” admittance. I thought that it would been a better idea to stick these signs on a door, rather than on the wall. I honestly think that I don’t possess any special abilities to warp through walls or open a portal to pass through. However, you’ll never know unless you try.
(Whatever mishaps you meet when trying out, it’s none of my business)

The walkway looks quite spooky when it is dark. Here are some different angle of views of the walkway.

There is another door opposite the conference room. It is a rather interesting place. This door labelled as the “Library”. I have documented it in another post.

Moving on, you will face another door juxtaposed to the library. This door is labelled “Bro J.D. Chang”. However, the sign above the door “says” that it is the Lounge. I believe one of the past brothers is currently living in here.
(It looks more like a storeroom than a dwelling/man-cave.)

I have documented it in another post.

You will see 9 studios as you walk past the “Bro J.D Chang” room. These studios are probably left untouched for a long time, since there was a thick layer of dust seen on the door handles. They were also locked, to my dismay.

After many days of disappointment, I was on the verge of rage-quitting giving up, I found Studio 4 left ajar. No words were needed to express my excitement. Oh, the irony.

I have documented it in another post.

Before I end off my journey in this post, here are some photos of the walkway and entrance shown from the perspective of the other end.

[Above: The walkway (left) and the entrance (right) shown from the other end.]
Sign shows “No Admittance”(again, for obvious reasons)

Note that the door sign shown at the beginning of the post belongs to the door shown on the picture on the right.

With this, I conclude this adventure through the Marist Residence. Be sure to explore the rest of the individual doors too!
