7th Floor: Conference Room (Original)

This post is a part of a series:
7th Floor: Hidden Walkway above Staff Room
If you haven’t done so, please view it first so that you’ll be able to keep track of our adventures in chronological order.

This is the Conference Room. Not much is needed to comprehend what is shown in the picture below. If you hadn’t noticed this room during your (supposed) walking up of the stairs to the 7th floor, be it CCA (ODAC) or other reasons, now’s the time to take a good look at the pictures below since it’s a good learning opportunity.
(Yes, and risk-free too.)

[Above: Sign on top says “Conference Room”, if it isn’t already obvious enough.]

This is Studio 4. It is the 4th Studio on the 7th floor.

4th Floor: Roof Terrace (near the Terracotta Warriors)

The roof terrace is deceptively named, since it is neither on the roof nor has a terrace lying behind the door.
Let us see what lies behind the “Roof Terrace” door.
Seemingly innocent door claiming to contain a “roof terrace”.

QUESTION TIME: How did you manage to open the door if it is locked?

I spent countless hours of PE lesson slacking at one corner holding meetings with my intelligent assistants to devise an action plan. After 5 weeks of hard work, my assistants finally came up with a solution, which was to use a crowbar.

I wanted to continue my scouting but I started to suffer from hyperthermia.
I was rushed to the Water Cooler. I had to pay for the water used. How “surprising”.

If you are interested in how we took the aerial view, it is documented in this post:

7th Floor: Bro J.D. Chang Room (Original)

This post is a part of this series:
If you haven’t done so, please view it first so you’ll can keep track of our adventures in chronological order.

What was seen from the outside of J.D Chang’s room.

[above] Taped, handwritten label of the door
The room was in a utter mess when I entered. I entered multiple times over the course of a few months. On some occasions, a radio playing Chinese music was turned on, which shows signs of the room being used.

Various angle of view of the room.

[2nd picture: viewed directly from entrance]
[3rd picture: diagonal view of the room with better lighting]

Keys holder were spotted on the wall behind the door. (Deceptively placed and unfortunately locked). I have always wondered if the keys were actually behind the holders, who knows? The keys might be able to lead to new discoveries. (Any lockpickers reading?)

A couple of bookshelves were found in the room. They are quite dusty and generally piled with old books and miscellaneous items.

Intrigued by the contents in the shelf, I took a closer look. I found a book with the title “Female Manga Characters”. Brothers sure do have other hobbies other than being holy. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

With this, I end my exploration for the day. Stay tuned for more.

7th Floor: Hidden Walkway above Staff Room (Original)

Have you ever seen this door? Legend says that the school’s Marist brothers lived in the walkway inside.

7th Floor: Legion of Mary Room

One day, I was walking along the corridor along the 7th floor. I was wondering around and did not have anything to do during recess. When I was wondering aimlessly, I saw a room with the words “Chapel, Legion of Mary” on it. Curiosity got the better of me and I tried to open the door…
(The Legion Of Mary Room on the 7th floor.)

Upon entering the location, I was greeted by a sight resembling a miniature version of the school chapel. (Since sign on the door says “Chapel”, you'll find that it is pretty much a smaller version of the school chapel, like how I did). It leads me to believe that it is probably the previous location of the current Chapel which currently resides beside the school hall. It is equipped with rows of chairs. There is also an old dusty organ which hasn’t seem to be touched for decades.

There is also a table at the back of the room with a statue of Mother Mary. It appears to be a meeting table. The organ is placed a corner at the picture below.
[Above: Statue of Mother Mary, note that the Organ is at the right corner]

Pictures of documents below suggests that they hold weekly meetings.
It seems to be that an active group visits this location on a regular basis judging by the lack of dust on the documents on the table. A group photo is attached on the whiteboard with the words "Morning Star of the Sea" written above. I’m certain that is the group name.
With the presence of Chinese text seen in the above picture, I believe this group contains Chinese-speaking members.

I also found more documents and regalia related to the group in question.
[Left] A sign written in traditional Chinese, 圣母军. Loosely translated, it means the Army of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
[Right] A document with written rules for the members of the “Morning Star of the Sea". It seems that they uphold a strict routine with respect to their faith and have weekly meetings.

With this, I end the exploration for the day.
